On Friday morning, I spent my time at the office. There is a new patch rolling out for our system and I have volunteered to test it since I'm not goin anywhere for Chinese New Year. Well, not that bad actually, luckily there was no error in our system. Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year !

It is still called 'Mana Potion' though. This thing looks real enough and don't seem like a joke to me. So I guess, they must be serious with their product, 'Mana Potion'.


According to their website, this energy drink doesn't contain any sugar and has lots of vitamins. It is equivalent to about two 8-ounce Red Bulls or four cups of crappy office coffee. After drinking it, it will replenish about 160 mana.

I would like to wish my fellow friends Good Luck for their final. They have managed to pass the qualifying round and reach the final stage where 3 groups will fight each other. All the best guys for the Dota All-Stars tournament. Sorry I couldn't make it.

I'm currently at the office right now. After about 1 week of working, I've felt that I'm not prepared for work, not yet, not now. But life goes on.

I just started working on last Wednesday and so far, those 3 days (Wednesday-Friday) were quite fun. So far, my boss was kind to me and gave me the opportunity to learn a lot of stuffs. To those who are unsatisfied with their boss, you can give the game below a try. Hopefully, you will get to release your tension.

Quickie : Shuji asked for the pictures so I'll just upload it first. The quality is so-so because the camera in action for that night is my trusty P1i. It's not the usual eye-candy shots ! "Hari Raya" celebration is not complete without the "open house" event where people come to visit your house, eat up all your foods, make a mess and then leave. Last Saturday, it was my housemate, MTH's open house. I was among the first to arrive there because I need to go to another open house (my cousins's). A lot of people flock to his home during the first 1/2 hour after I arrived there. They were MTH's sisters friends (he got 2 sisters). A few minutes after that, 3 people arrived which is also my housemate, Shuji, and 2 of our friends, Donnie, and Virus (their real name are private and confidential). We waited for about 1 hour for the next batch of people to come. Talk about life, huh.

It seems like the house is being invaded by MTH's sisters and their friends so while waiting for our turn to invade, we chill at MTH's porch. If you look closely, you can see some jar with chips inside. It is really delicious and you will know more about it later. So what is so special in MTH's house that people want to stay there for so long ? His house is actually a karaoke place in disguise. Luckily we have our own university (MMU) karaoke champion, Mr. Pepeto to save us some pride against UTP (the place where MTH's sister is studying at).

So back to the jar of chips story. About 3-4 persons finished up 3 jars. Okay, I got to admit that I'm one of the criminals. It is actually a traditional-like chip but with a different flavor. The one I like is the pizza-flavored chip !

Throughout the open house, it was raining heavily and I ended up staying there. Called my cousin and said that I won't be coming to his open house. LOL. After the karaoke session, we stayed there because Buster and Virus wanted to watch their idols playing (Liverpool...) which managed to score 3 goals but the final score is 2-1. Go figure ! Anyway, I would like to thanx MTH for inviting me to his open house and also thanx for the delicious chips which you have provided for us. I hope next time MMU will conquer his house first before UTP.

On the last week of September 2007, about 6 fellas went to Sunway Piramid to celebrate a particular person's birthday. Who is that person ?

Okay, the person is... Erks. Because his birthday land on the fasting month this year, we decided to celebrate his birthday by breaking our fast together at Chicken Hartz (Dejavu ? No actually, we went there also last year for his birthday !). The 6 fellas is non other than MTH (Capiq), Antabax (Azmeer), Slideways (Shuji), Soyaman (Donni), Buster (Pedot, he came late by the way), and the birthday boy himself, Erks.

After we're done with the chickens, we proceed to the smoking area which is nice actually because you can see the whole Sunway Lagoon and also the Sunway Hotel.

After a lot of thinking on what to do next, we rejected the cinema to give way for karaoke. LOL ! Because we don't want to waste a lot of money for the karaoke (it is only for the 6 of us), we went on a hunt to find a cheap but nice place for karaoke. From Sunway Piramid, we travelled to SS15 Subang. According to Donny, there is a few place to karaoke there which will not cost us that much. Seems like we can't trust Donny that much because there is only 1 place for karaoke there and it cost a bomb to book a room there. Then we proceed to somewhere else and decided to check around Summit Usj (near Shuji's House). The karaoke center there is also for the rich and famous.

We tried for 1 last time and proceed to Summit Mall and if there is no karaoke available, we will watch a movie or something. This time, it was Shuji's idea. I cant stand but laugh when we found the karaoke place. It is such a small place where few cubicles reside in it. In the cubicle is where people sing. It can fit I say max 3-4 person. LOL ! Luckily, a few blocks from the "cubicle" karaoke, there is another karaoke place and this time, it might fit us all. Eventhough it is a bit cramp inside there, we still had fun. In the end, Buster chose Inul's song (Indonesian Dangdut) and " Cascada - Everytime We Touch " for our last 2 songs. Speechless is the word here.

Eventhough I got work tomorrow morning (we arrived at Cyberjaya around 2 in the morning), it wasnt a problem for me because I usually sleep around 3 in the morning (I can sleep during the lunch time, hey its fasting month la). Anyway, all the best for you Erks and Happy Belated Birthday.

Around last week, the same day with the big gaming event WCG 2007 (Saturday), we (I and my housemates) went to the famous tDs's Queen of Pain, Iskandar or better known as tDs-IS, brother's wedding. By goin to the wedding, we can save our money by just having our lunch there and perhaps, can last us atleast until dinner. The really funny part is that Slideways printed about 4 copies of the map that can lead us without no hassle to Is's house. Out of the 4 printed copies, none were taken with us. Btoii dak ?? "My pc's 'mobo' and processor has served me well for about 4 years. Its time to RIP"

Yesterday, while burning data into my dvd, I notice a weird sound coming from my pc. Just a one time sound. So I take a look inside my computer and to my amazement, the big black fan at the back of my casing just died. Well, its just the fan I thought, when I went back to my chair and check my burning progress, it was stuck at 5%. I was like WTF ? Then I notice my mouse movement is experiencing some sort of 'hiccups'. Well, damn, wasted a dvd and now need to restart 'pulak'. Then you know what happen after I restarted the pc ? It can't be turned on. Weird 'error sound' coming from the 'mobo' (motherboard). So I cleaned everything inside my casing (obviously dust is the major crisis here). After cleaning, I still can't turn my pc on but no more noise though. After a bit of testing, I conclude that the problem may be coming from the 'mobo' or the processor. It was an ABIT mobo coupled with an AMD Athlon Xp processor (yes, it is ancient). This morning, I tried again and it is still the same, it cant freaking start. So I guess I am left with a dead pc now in my room. So where am I goin to dig some cash for a new pc ? Gg.

Guys, not sure if this is old news or not but recently, a local telephone number has been spreading around like wild fire. This is because it is rumoured that the phone number is actually haunted. Is it told that after you dial the said number, a sad girl's voice will be heard repeating words like "Jai Jian le" (see you again, jumpa lagi) and the weird thing is, you wont be charged for the call. Scary huh ? Anyway the haunted number is 046461234 (number from Penang, Kedah or Perlis). Anyone have the guts to try it ? Some even claimed that before putting the phone down, they can hear the girl said "you have 7 days remaining". OMG ? Similar to the horror story from Japan, 'The Ring'. Furthermore, it is said that the voice belongs to a girl before she commit suicide.

A quick search using Google reveals more and more website about this number. There is a lot of claim from Malaysian. Some of them are bullshyt I must say but some are real that it will make you shyt on your pants. I will list some of the claims/reactions about the haunted number gathered around the net (especially from lowyat.net) copy-pasted without any editing.

To fellow smokers especially those who play games. I guess you all realiased that the prices for these 'ciggies' has gone up yet again. Not sure about the other brands out there, but any brand under the BAT (British American Tobacco) umbrella is affected. The new price range for its brands of cigarettes is now: RM9.20 for Dunhill Fine Cut 20s; Dunhill D360 20s and Pall Mall Plain 20s (RM8.60); Dunhill King Size, Kent King Size, Benson & Hedges King Size and Peter Stuyvesant 20s (RM8.20); Perilly’s King Size and Pall Mall King Size 25s (RM7.30) and Perilly’s 100s (RM6.90). For the 14s pack, Dunhill, Benson & Hedges and Peter Stuyvesant are now priced at RM5.90.

So guys, is it almost the time to stop now ? I once make a promise to myself that when a box of 20s Dunhill reach the RM10 mark, I will stop smoking. But with the current situation, RM8.20 is quite a burden from RM7.30. So I sit down and think for a while. Besides the joy of smoking, the effects from smoking is not good either. So why waste money to smoke ? If its just plain addicted, I dont think there should be any problem to stop. Smoking is actually a part of life to those who smokes. It is kinda the same like eating or drinking. Its not because of its addictiveness, its become more than that. It is a part of our daily routine. For me, everytime I go to work and between work, lunch and 6.00 pm (my office hour is till 6.00 pm), smoking is a must. I smoke around1 stick per hour. That doesnt sound too bad, rite ?

When you talk about smoking during games, everytime u die, especially when its in the middle stage of the game, u tend to smoke because u will get revive only after a minute or so. This is seriously a bad habit that me and my frens developed. Ive tried chewing gum or snacks but hey who am I lying to. Its just plain different. For starters, lets just try to ease on the smoking. Maybe I should only smoke 1 stick between morning, lunch and another stick between lunch and 6.00 pm.

Anyway, my brother in law, Joe, recently went to Thailand and he bought a 20s pack of Marlboro. Its different from the packs u have here in Malaysia. In Thailand, they have this very scary ad on every ciggies pack there. If these kind of ads were to be done in Malaysia, plus the recent prices for ciggies, I say good bye to fellow smokers. I'll try to stop. Or in other words, GG.



So guys, should we go on smoking or take this matter into consideration ? The choice is in ur hands. But for me, it is still safe to smoke. LMAO. For more info about this ads thingy, click here.

Today, there is rare thing happened here in Cyberia Condominium, Cyberjaya. It is located near the Multimedia University. The thing started when me, MTH, and Din were walking to MTH's car that was parked outside of the condo. While we were at it, we saw a police patrol car and a fire truck.


Most of the people there are looking towards the sky. I was wondering why ? Maybe there is unit that has caught fire or something. When we look up, what we saw up there made us lost our appetite to eat.


We tried to calm down first. So we continue to walk, and as I past the guard post, I look back at the girl for a clearer view.


From this angle, you guys might think that the unit is on the 3rd of 4th floor. Let me show you how high the place is.

You can see here that the girl is not fooling around. She was in a hysteria state.



After that we canceled our trip to Alamanda, Putrajaya and decided to have a quick lunch at the nearby food stalls @ bus station, Street Mall. When we got back, another fire truck arrived.



A lot of people has gathered to watch this thing and it turns out that the policemen and the firemen has managed to safe the girl.



The police patrol car is parked near the entrance of the building, C1, to transport the girl to somewhere else probably to a counseling place to calm her down.

They managed to wrap the girl around with some sort of cloth and carried her into the police patrol car.




After that, they drove away with the girl.

It seems that the policemen and firemen managed to 'backdoor' her room and catch her before anything happen. Anyway, from my point of view, I dont think she will do it because I know she still have some sanity. Respect to the people involved on saving her life.
