Yesterday's match was a breath taking one. How can I know this when I dont even get to connect to the GGTV server ? Let just say I have some psychic power. Anywy, not sure if my connection is fcuked up or there are too many gamers connecting to the server that disabled me to join it. Anyway, I've got some info from the official GGC thread here. The first match, Ks played on the sentinel side and they picked Priestess of the Moon, Queen of Pain, Sven, Lina, and Shadow Fiend where else W4SI, on the scourge side, picked Tinker, Drow Ranger, Tormented Soul, Zeus and Spectre. Ks managed to win the first match. The second match, it was W4SI's turn to play on the sentinel side and they drafted Faceless Void, Zeus, Viper, Sven, and Necrolyte while Ks, on the scourge side, drafted Queen of Pain, Centaur Warchief, Tormented Soul, Nerubian Assasin, and Tinker. W4SI lost again and Ks was crowned the champion of the first GGC Malaysia Dota tournament.
The replays are out with some details about it which you can read it here. Thanx to Nasriq, Ns-Hon, and also Underminer for organizing this tournament. I hope that he will send to me the other matches's replay too. Lastly, good luck to Xero and Cybertime`G for their 3rd and 4th placing.

Tonite is the final match for the GGC Malaysia Tournament. So who won at the semi final ? Suprisingly, Ks proved themself that they are worthy for the final spot when they managed to defeat Cybertime`G. Both teams are quite strong but thats the rule of the game, only the winner can proceed. The other semi final match is team Xero against W4SI and well, as some has predicted, W4SI defeated Xero and they will proceed to the final round against Ks. Xero still have a chance to shine which is for the 3rd place so does Cybertime`G.
Anyway, the final match which is tonite is where W4SI and Ks will fight for the glory to take the title home for the first ever GGC Malaysia tournament. It will be around 11:30 PM Malaysia Time which is 12 hours ahead of EST, and 8 hours ahead of GMT. Dont miss the chance to watch this final match LIVE via GGTV. Here are some updates on the GGC Malaysia tournament. It has reached the semi final stage right now. So which team that qualified for the semi final ? For the first round to determine the quarter-finalist before the semi final, as usual, the 2 top teams (total of 16 teams) of each group need to defeat their opponent to qualify for the quarter-final. Cybertime`G managed to qualify after some grueling matches with PD which they won by 2-1 while W4SI on the other hand, won 2-0 againts [W.A.R]. The under dog team, XERO, again, surprised everyone by defeating PLAB. One of the members is a friend of mine and their teamwork is quite strong judging by the way they converse in game. Meanwhile, SMGP lost to MBJB with the score 2-0. eD, a quite well known online clan, will also join the qualified teams after winning 2-1 against MILK. Another quite known clan, Ks, defeated [IV] and like eD, will join the others for the quarter final. The two remaining teams that proceed to the quarter final is team NsP and aTTP. They won because their opponent, ABC and TMSTYLE lose their qualification.
Now lets talk about the quarter final that separates them. Xero, yes you bet it, won with the score 2-1 against MBJB. From some insider(s), I heard that it was a tough game for XERO but they managed to pull it off and win 2 matches. For eD, sad for them because they are fighting for a semi-final spot and the team that they need to face is non other than W4SI which are quite famous and have won some lan tournaments before. The score ended with 2-0 in favour of W4SI. It is heard that they forfeited the match due to one of their member's internet connection was so bad. Nevermind, there is always next time. Ks, who won before, managed to continue their winning streak by defeating aTTP. The last team who qualified for the semi final is Cybertime`G which they got through the quarter final with ease because team NsP lose their qualification.
So we have 4 strong teams now for the semi final which is Cybertime`G, XERO, Ks, and W4SI. The schedule is out here. A lot of people already have Cybertime`G and W4SI for the final game in their mind. Let see if XERO can upset W4SI or maybe Ks will win against Cybertime`G in the semi final. As always, time will tell.

Its been more than 1 week since the launch of GGC Malaysia league and all the matches have been played. The only remaining group is group F which needs to be decided with a tie-breaker. The three teams involved in the tie-breaker is MILK, OJB, and T-A.
So, the teams that are qualified for the finals will battle it out in a bracket format with 16 teams, 2 from each group. From the official thread here, the teams that qualify for the finals are Ct`G & SMGP from Group A, ATTP & PD from Group B, W4SI & NSP from Group C, KS & PLAB from Group D, ABC & -[V]- from Group E, MBJB from Group F, eD & [W.A.R] from Group G and last but not least XERO & TM STYLE from group H.
So far, the replays cant be distributed yet but I've got some of the replays courtesy of Iblis. Let see, if I've got time, I'll pick 1 and do a review of it. Lastly, good luck to the teams that qualified and better luck next time for those who didnt. Sayonara.
The Issue between Cybertime`G and SMGP

Things are getting hot for the GGC Malaysia tourney. Before this, it was stated that CT`G lost to SMGP. After a recheck, the admins decided that CT`G won. So what happened actually ? Sadly, one CT`G member kept disconnected from the game and the match had to be reloaded from a save point. This means that, there is no replay to watch and by this, no correct assumptions can be made.
One of the CT`G members, Achilles- (ex-Wizz), commented on the issue when the admins decided to give SMGP the upper hand. He said,
" Hey, I really dun understand the match between CT`G and SMGP which we have won n send the ss (screen-shot) to the admins. 1st of all, they refuse to play on our host n keep insisting that their line is better so we played on it (SMGP's host) and they got their 1st pick which they wanted it, so we gave them watever they wan =/. We eventually played 2 games, where the first game is in da afternoon, because of the lag issue, we stop playing and postponed it to night due to the lag issue (2nd game). So, we played it at night but they wanted a re-draft (repick heroes) and we have no idea so we said ok. How wonderful is this =/ . But when 1 of our member dc-ed (disconnected), we request for a load n they insisted after 15 mins, no more loading game, cuz they already load the game before n they dunwan (dont want) to load again, so we become fed up wif the lag issue and the superb attitude and sportsmanship of the opponent, we decided to cont (continue) the game and I microed (controlled) 2 heroes which is mine n the leaver's hero. It was a close match which we won by breaking the throne but somehow, they accused us of pooling =/ and they got the win. Is there any proof or evidence of us pooling ? I really hope that the admins will look into the matter n give us a good reply. Thx. "
SMGP also gave their own view of the game. Their leader, imbaimba, wrote this,
" First, we felt delay for 3 sec n super lag when CT`G hosted the game. So we suggested our guy to host it when the void (Wizz's Faceless Void) dc-ed. He only got BattleFury, Mask of Madness, Power Thread but when they push for the 1st time, he (Faceless Void) suddenly got an EagleHorn and later, he got Butterfly + Mkb (Monkey King Bar) towards the end of the game while the Silencer item was halted (didn't buy any more items). We suspect that they bought item(s) for the leaver so we tell Ns-Hon our assumption the next day. The result was out and our team won. The winner must save the replay to Ns-Hon rite ? If u guys probably win tis match, how could the result showed that we won? ? U think Ns-hon blinkness ? (blind ? blindness ?). Anyway, we are willing to have a rematch but I suggest that Ns Hon to become the observer. Thx. "
Later on, the admins decided for the last time and gave CT`G the win. This is what imbaimba wrote about it,
" I respect the moderator decision(s). They just got the screen shot but no replay. So, we have no evidence that CT`G was pooling (1-2 players chip in to buy an item for 1 hero). By the rules, we admit defeat. Now, we just need to win Team Aeon. Thats all. Settled. "
Achilles- responded with,
" Good luck in your upcoming match then (with a smile) "
From my view, this type of problems is unavoidable. This is one of the few problems you can encounter during an online match especially for a tourney. If void really had more items since the disconnection, then it is considered pumping or pooling because from what I understand, you cant transfer gold or items. But in this case, the original controller had dc-ed. If in a public game, its normal to take the items from a dc-ed hero but giving it items can be considered pumping. Anyway, this is just my view and it is just an assumption from team SMGP that team CT`G pumped the void. In this case, both teams cant be blame and the win should go to Ct`G who had the screenshot of the game. What SMGP and the other teams can do in this type of situation is to make a screen shot of your assumptions. If you said that a hero got pumped or something, take a screenshot of that hero and it's pumper (the one who pumped him) but the best way to avoid this is to have a neutral host or observers to spectate the game. Anyway, good luck to SMGP and the rest of the teams for the remaining matches.

So far, the event has reached the third day but not all the matches have been played by the respective teams. Below are the result from playday1 till playday3.
Playday1
For Group A, Cybertime G won against KMX while ATTP won againts N|B4 in Group B. The infamous W4SI on the other hand managed to defeat NSP in Group C and KS defeated PLAB in Group D.
For Group E onwards, only 3 matches were played and 2 of it is in Group E. 7-Zai won against RAGE and ABC defeated -[V]- while in Group F, MILK lost against MBJB.
Playday2
For Group A to Group D, only 1 match were played and it is between KMX and SMGP where KMX lost again. So far, KMX lost 2 matches already and their chance to qualify for the next stage is low.
4 matches were played where the 2 matches comes from Group E, 1 from Group F and the last 1 from Group G. ABC won again and this time, their opponent is 7-Zai while RAGE on the other hand, lose again with the team ABC defeated at playday1, -[V]-. RAGE shares the same fate with KMX where their hope for qualifying is low. In Group F, T-A defeated MILK and eD won against [W.A.R] in group G.
Playday3
In Group A, suprisingly, CT`G lose to SMGP. By winning, SMGP is at 1st place for Group A. In Group B, ATTP defeated R|P and they also top their group with 2 wins. The Johor SMM state champion, KS, also are doing well. They defeated SMKHC.DT and are sitting comfortably at 1st place with 2 wins.
For Group E, ABC wrap it up by winning against RAGE and with 3 wins and 0 losses, they are qualified for the next round. -[V]- finishes second by defeating 7-Zai and they will also proceed to the next round. For Group G, only 1 match were played that is eD against ReV. eD managed to add their tally to 2 wins while in Group H, the first match for it were played and the teams were Xero and Ga which Xero won.
That concludes the updates for playday1 to playday3 with some matches still not yet played. I hope the teams will sort their time and play their remaining games because everyday is a play day. This means that they have matches almost everyday. This will cause a lot of problems if a lot of matches still not yet played. By the way, if the replays are out, I will upload it.
