I've been a Malaysian for almost 23 years now and well I do have some national spirit for the country especially in sports. Malaysia is one of the host for the AFC Asian Cup 2007 together with Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. Last night was the first match for Malaysia and its opponent is China. So whats the result ? From this quote "Han Peng and Wang Dong netted two goals apiece as China kicked off their AFC Asian Cup 2007 campaign in style with a 5-1 trouncing of Malaysia at Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Wednesday" taken from AFC website should be more than enough for us to understand that they played horribly bad. Malaysia became the first of the four co-hosts to lose a match in the competition following victories for Vietnam and Indonesia against United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, respectively, and a draw for Thailand against Iraq.

They were given a lot of spirit from us Malaysian and the government heck there were given a full set of jerseys sponsored by Nike. If they cant win the game (hardly), the least they can do is to minimize teh damage. But, what the heck, 5-1 ?? Well, whats done is done. Lets just hope they gonna win the next match against Uzbekistan or might as well give another 5-1 performance.

Well Mr. President. Its been a long time. The last one was during the Prime Minister's marriage post rite ? Anyway, we cant deny that China's level of soccer is better than Malaysia. What we hope is our players perform and get good results. Results like 2-1, 2-0, 2-2 is far better than 5-1. So I hope, someone as caliber as you could atleast have some respect for our players eventhough they suck (layankan ajer).

Malaysia bukanlah negara yang mana sukan bola sepak boleh diagung-agunkan seperti sukan yang lain. Sukan bola sepak Malaysia tidak seperti tahun-tahun yang dahulu, di mana Mokhtar Dahari dan Dollah Salleh yang satu ketka dahulu menjadi hero kepada jutaan peminat bola sepak Malaysia.
Pada pandangan saya, bola sepak di Malaysia ini, hanya sekadar permainan biasa, sepak menyepak, kejar mengejar yang mana budak sekolah rendah boleh bermain sebaik pasukan negara, cuma kurangnya tenaga , tinggi dan tahap kemampuan serta latihan.
Ini bukanlah kali pertama Malaysia dimalukan sedemikian rupa, dan saya sangat yakin ini juga bukan kali pertama kita disini memaki hamun rentak permainan bola sepak Malaysia. Ketika saya masih kecil, saya adalah peminat setia liga malaysia. Sehinnggalah Liverpool FC mendewasakan saya, dapat di lihat perbezaan yang sungguh ketara diantara Malaysia dan LFC. Tidak perlu LFC, jika dibandingkan dengan Vietnam sekalipun, Malaysia masih tidak mampu untuk menyainingi negara tersebut.
Bola sepak Malaysia sangatlah mengarut dan membuang duit penyokong. Idea membawa masuk pemain luar hanyalah 'diversion' utk mengaburi mata penyokong bola sepak malaysia tetapi konsep permainan masih lagi di takuk yang lama.
Apa yang saya harapkan ialah, moga Torres dapat membawa kemenangan kpd LFC.
